Whether you are just starting to use Autodesk software or you’re an experienced professional, you can choose the level that is right for you. There are three levels of certification: user, associate, and professional. The associate exam is the most broadly available
Autodesk offers performance-based professional-level tests. Performance-based tests are recognized as a better way to certify using live Autodesk software applications to answer questions about design problems and solutions.
The Autodesk Digital Skills Documents are designed to help educators and educational institutions teach Autodesk software skills. Created using valuable input from respected educators and designers, it sets forth important skill standards for developing a high-quality user certification exam and curriculum resources, including the exam objectives. These Digital Skill documents serve to standardize the core competencies for fundamental-level instruction with the associated Autodesk software for a two semester class and provide a content framework and reference guide for the Autodesk Certified User exams.
We offers practice tests for every Autodesk Certified User (ACU) exam to help test takers build their confidence and prepare them for the ACU certification exams.
Autodesk User Certification allows students to begin their design careers while in school, and then move forward with additional levels of certification as they attend college and begin working as design professionals.
The exams are not based on a specific release, but instead are based on a series of fundamental tasks that are not release specific. You will not need to order exams of a specific release to match the software release in your lab.
Educators and students can take the exams at a public Etrain Authorized Testing Center or become a center themselves. If schools or districts want to run exams onsite, they can easily become a testing center and run the exams seamlessly in class. Institutions can sign up to be centers on the Certiport site.
When you earn an Autodesk User Certification, the certification will be viewable online using their Certiport test candidate ID. In addition, you can forward an electronic version to your peers or employers or print a copy for their records.
Autodesk Education has produced the Digital STEAM Workshop. There are other test preparation materials that are available. Contact your Infomatics Sales Representative to learn more.
